Genesis Healthcare to open new “PowerBack” rehabilitation facility

Genesis Healthcare, the national mega chain of nursing homes, has announced the building of a 30 million dollar rehabilitation facility next to the recently opened Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey. The intention is to open four such “PowerBack” facilities in the area, two in Philadelphia and one in Moorestown New Jersey, presumably for a total of 120 million dollars. New Jersey makes staffing ratio available to the Public

One of the most common complaints from nursing home residents and their families is not enough staff.  Even the staff itself continually complains that resident’s lives are in danger based on owners of nursing homes not providing appropriate staffing.
