Attorney Chris Welsh Elected President of Nebraska Assoc. of Trial Attorneys
Contributing TLC attorney, Chris Welsh, was elected President of the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys (“NATA”) at its annual meeting in Omaha last week. He will serve for the 2014-2015 year alongside other leading advocates, Kathleen M. Neary, Vincent M. Powers, Monte L. Neilan, and Britany Shotkoski.
Chris and his firm, Welsh & Welsh, are widely esteemed representatives for individuals and families who have suffered serious injuries or wrongful death in Nebraska. Since graduating Thomas Cooley Law School in 2000, Chris has tried critical cases at jury trials at the state and federal level. As a NATA board member since 2004, his work is largely dedicated to improving trial practice, protecting the jury system, and continuing legal education in Nebraska and across the country. A frequent writer and speaker at legal programs all over, Chris has served in a number of leading roles since beginning his career in 2000, such as American Association of Justice Delegate, NATA Legislative Committee Chair, NATA PAC Trustee, and Chair of American Association of Justice Sole Practitioner and Small Firm Section.
